god heals a broken heart

standing here in a little park in mexico-city.you know, i have been reading among other things the story of jacob lately, sort offrom beginning to end. and you know what: it actually reads worse than any soap operayou can imagine. jacobâ´s family was messed up. i mean with his kids, infidelity and therewere murders and there were jealousies, everything you can imagine. the family was torn apart.and yet, before the story is over, god does this amazing thing. god uses jacob and useshis sons and just as something spectacular that touches the world.iâ´m reminded of psalm 127: unless the lord builds the house,they labor in vain who build it; unless the lord guards the city,the watchman stays awake in vain.

it is vain for you to rise up early,to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows;for so he gives his beloved sleep. behold, children are a heritage from the lord,the fruit of the womb is a reward. like arrows in the hand of a warrior,so are the children of one’s youth. happy is the man who has his quiver full ofthem; they shall not be ashamed,but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.when god builds the family good things come of it. i just want to encourage you to trustgod with your family. i think that the main thing that brought all of this goodness outof such a mess in jacobs life with his family,

was the promise of god. god had promised jacobabout his offspring, about his future, about his descendants and jabob believed the promise.i just read you some promises right here in psalm 127 and you can believe them. the scripturealso says that great will be the peace of your children that will be personally taughtby the lord. the scripture promises the children will return to their borders. there is a lotof promises in the bible about our kids and our families. i tell you what: the promisesof god can bring mightiness out of a mess. it can bring something beautiful out of somethingyou think is beyond repairing. maybe youâ´re watching me right now and you got issues withyour kids, you got issues in your marriage. all sorts of stuff thatâ´s going on. i justwant to say: god can help you and the end

of your story can be better that the beginning.so trust him with your family.
